3. Choose one detail from the illustrative frame. Write what you can see, then what additional evidence would be needed to attach it to a specific moment in 1921.
4. Compare the winter episode, the 1990 monument and a dated commemorative notice or speech. State which is the event being remembered and which is a later act of remembrance.
