Free Sakarya discovery card Build a sequence, follow a resource and question the image. Four original prompts to accompany the story.
Return to the illustrated story ↗ 1. Build a four-part sequence: preparation, battle, recognition and later offensive. Add a sourced date to each part and explain why the dates cannot be merged.
2. Follow an imagined supply object through collection, movement and receipt. Label your sequence as a research model; list the records needed to verify an actual shipment.
3. Choose a spatial relationship from the account: river, east bank or Haymana. Write what a dated military map would need to show before you could place a particular position.
4. Compare the illustrative cover with the museum's description of panoramas and paintings. For each, distinguish the represented event, the medium and a detail that still needs documentary support.
