1. Building / observation. Select one room boundary and one open space in the photograph. Write what you can see, then one use you cannot establish from the image alone.

2. Road / missing evidence. Read the NPS road account. What further evidence would you need before joining two discontinuous traces? Keep observation and proposal in separate sentences.

3. Function / more than one question. Explain how practical usefulness and ceremonial meaning might be discussed together without claiming one purpose for every road. Name your source.

4. Time and connection. Compare 850–1150 with about 1020–1110. Which concerns a building and which a region? Add a sentence acknowledging continuing relationships with living peoples.
