1. Threshold: choose one visible feature of the Bacchus building’s platform. What can you describe from the photograph, and what belongs to the separate Jupiter-court source?

2. Carving: draw or describe one shadow-making detail. Separate your observation from the interpretation behind the building’s name.

3. Quarry: make three labelled lines for photographed Hajjar al-Hibla, the separate 2014 discovery and placed podium blocks. Which location and source support each line?

4. Reuse: choose one later function in Bustan Nassif. Record the building phase, fieldwork years and publication date separately. What remains an open question?
